"I had my first woodwork lesson from a local joiner from around the age of 9, making items such as a stool, coffee table, spice rack, and a shelving unit. I enjoyed being hands-on and creative so continued woodwork lessons at secondary school. I feel a passion like this never really leaves you. The idea of turning my enthusiasm for this type of work into a career was actually suggested to me by a family member who knew of my love and ability for working with wood. Since then, picture framing has been my main focus. I have attended a highly acclaimed training and guidance course, in Bristol, with ‘Framers Guild Commended’ framer Mike Royall. Now, I have my own workshop along with the skills and tools required to produce the superb finished frames I wished for. I take pride in being known for my customer satisfaction and high quality of workmanship."
